Maryanne Wisniewski5 StarSwezey Fuel is the best!
I came home after working a 12 hr shift to the overwhelming smell of oil in my home! I’ve had a contract with Swezey for a few years so when I went down to my basement and saw that my oil tank had a huge leak, I called them and they came immediately; assessed and explained every step necessary along with my new tank options! All the technicians went above and beyond to make this awful situation better, and the cleanup afterward exceeded my expectation! Great employees, Swezey Fuel!
Thank you!Friday 20th October 2023
Rick Rogers5 StarFairly new with Swezey and all of my experience so far has been very positive. Had a service call yesterday and Tim arrived in about an hour. He got the burner up and running even though a replacement part needs to be ordered. Thanks Tim ! Very happy with Swezey service. Just a follow up....Ray returned with the part right on schedule. He had the burner back in service quickly. Plus he patiently answered all my questions about my System 2000 unit. Very happy I signed up with Swezey.Monday 15th April 2024
Joe Trelin1 StarI had a bad experience with Swezey I felt important to share. 6 months ago I bought a $13K+ boiler and water heater from them. Right after the installation the boiler would rumble, like there was a big truck was driving by the house. A technician from my oil delivery company happened to be in the house after the installation for another matter. He looked at the new boiler and said it looked like they did good work, but wondered if the boiler was loudly rumbling. I said, yes, strangely, it was. He said the installers configured the boiler wrong. He told me he'd take care of it at no charge. It hasn't rumbled since.
In addition, at the time of the sale, I was promised a $500 rebate. Shortly after the purchase, I was told that the rebate fund was out of money and I needed to wait for it. Months went by. During that time my phone calls and texts regarding status weren't returned and, when I finally got someone on the phone, I was given incorrect status and promised follow-ups that never occurred. Finally, after 6 months I received a $300, not $500, rebate. At this juncture it's not worth the $200 for the stress of calling them again and being blown off or stone walled. If they had been responsive and transparent, even with bad news, I wouldn't be leaving this review. But, because they weren't, perhaps this can help someone else make an informed decision.Monday 13th May 2024
David Thomas5 StarI would gladly recommend Swezey Fuel to my family, friends and anyone who ask if I would recommend them. I have been with Swezey for about 20 years, they are reliable, their prices are reasonable and service is outstanding. Their staff in the office and in the field are very friendly and courteous, and professional. I am always talking to my relatives, friends and neighbors about swezey when the subject comes up about oil prices, delivery, service and contracts. If they were in Queens I would use them instead of their competition that I use now.Friday 22nd March 2024
Mary Mahepath1 StarABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. COMPLETE RIP OFF. Lance, the self described middle man at Swezey said, “post your review, we have good ones, so we don’t care.” Can you imagine?
So here we go. Purchased THREE brand new AC units from Swezey 20 months ago. The purchase was largely made on guarantees & warranties from the salesman, Anthony, who is no longer there. So Karl at Swezey says, “there’s nothing for us to say, Anthony left the company.”
The upstairs unit stopped working in April, the month I made final payment on 18 month finance. Tech came over to “open both units” and says, “both working now.”
Weather turned cold so we shut units off, and turned them both on 5/19/24. Upstairs unit STILL NOT WORKING.
Tech 1 Brian came thru on 5/19 could not find the problem, assured us he would return the following day with tech manager Ray.
Gentleman at Swezey called the next day, says Ray is busy. Tech 2 comes over.
Tech 2 does not find problem. Unit still running & running, but ZERO cold air. In other words, still broken.
Spoke to Lance today who says he can send Tech 3 over to change thermostat. Tech 3 comes over DOES NOT change the thermostat b/c I was here to tell him that!!!! What?
Just got off phone with Lance. He was rude, and told me to write a google review. So I wrote it, and the unit that’s barely two years old, is still not working.
Been a customer of Swezey for TWENTY years. That will change on the next business day.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.Friday 24th May 2024
